History:
In the myth of Castor and Pollux, Castor was the mortal son of Tyndareus, while Pollux was the divine son of Zeus. When Castor died Pollux asked his father to take half of his mortality and give it to Castor. This way they might stay together in the sky as the constellation Gemini
Currently:
The constellation of the twin's, Castor and Pollux, has been around for a long time. But, there is a Galactic debate about the political correctness of the group. One of the worlds more famous sets of twins, Margaret and Mary Halvorson are in the running to have this star set named for them. We think it may be time for a Stellar Makeover.

The Future:
Some stars are 8 times more impressive then our sun. As a star runs out of fuel, it cools. When all the fuel is spent, it's core collapses and the star explodes into a supernova. It can happen to any star, like those composing the Big Dipper, Orion or Pollux & Castor (AKA Margaret & Mary). Just try and imagine them without their trademark twinkles!
