About the Omarsea Crew

We are the Trefethens. After 10 years of planning we decided to sell our home and buy a sailboat. In November 2007 we departed Portland Oregon for the Virgin Islands and our 50 foot sloop the OMARSEA. Our three children Ben, Juli and Steve are enjoying the benefits of being homeschooled. Join us on our continuing adventures as we explore the East coast of America on the way to New Zealand.

Off to See the Lizards


Hello my name is Juli and this is one my bearded dragons Bonnie.(the other is clyde) they are about 5'' in length. Bonnie and Clyde are only baby's now but when they are older they will be about 1ft in length. I feed them medium to small cricket's ( 2 or 4 apice ever day ). They are curious and energetic. They love the heat lamp and the sunshine. Sometimes I take them outside to crawl through the grass. They eat clover when outside.     Great seeing your dragon. What happened to the lizard you picked up at our house? We found another in our mop last week!
