About the Omarsea Crew
We are the Trefethens. After 10 years of planning we decided to sell our home and buy a sailboat. In November 2007 we departed Portland Oregon for the Virgin Islands and our 50 foot sloop the OMARSEA. Our three children Ben, Juli and Steve are enjoying the benefits of being homeschooled. Join us on our continuing adventures as we explore the East coast of America on the way to New Zealand.

A Grand Day at Home
Each week there is the cry" Mail!", and " Color Comics First!" when the mailman pulls up to the mailbox. This followed by " Colored Comics Second!" and a mad dash out the door to the post box. So what's the big deal? Well I'll tell you. These kids have a very special Grandmother. Each week without fail. She puts all the Oregonian comic pages and any mail we received at her house in a box and ships it East for the kids. This week Stevie was third with the color comics. Here he is at lunch devouring his favorite strip - The Brilliant mind of Edison Lee. What joy they have opening those boxes. Thank you Clara for all you do. God Bless you each and every day.
