Our first "Hop"will be the sail down the bay to Hampton, VA. It is 100 miles from where we are now and we hope to make this leg in just under 12 hours. Navigation in the bay is relatively easy as it is well marked and the main chanel is deep. However we must keep a sharp eye out for large ships carying cargo bound for Baltimore.
